Black and blue self-portrait series

Get ready: things are about to get a little edgy...and well, pantless. Moving forward.
Recently, I was allowed the opportunity to borrow some studio lights for a project I was working on. A night or two after wrapping on the project the lights were still in my house, so I decided I might as well put them to further use. I'd hoped to recruit my sister for a shoot, but she wasn't around so I decided to do a little experimenting with them on my own. I took some time to put my face on, and ended up going with a dramatic smokey eye, so I decided to roll with the drama I was feeling. And who really needs pants anyway? You know life is better without them.
To me this series feels a bit risqué, but I like risqué. Lately I haven't had much time or chance to step outside of every day-type shoots, so I took this chance to flex my edgy-inclined creative side. I plan on pairing each photo with some lyrics that resonate with each image as I post them on Instagram throughout the coming week. So if you follow me look out for that, as well as about a billion beach posts that are sure to happen on my vacation this week. Alright alright, without further ado, here are my most recent self-portraits.

That's all for now. Until next time I play dress up and do weird stuff. Peace!
