Andrea & Mike

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting some engagement photos for some lovely fellow Blairsville folk. I was friends with Andrea when I was a little girl and she was an even little-er girl, so I was honored when she asked me to take photos of her and her fiance, Mike. I brought my sister along to assist me with posing, holding the reflector, and carrying my equipment - she is the best and most enthusiastic assistant - and she has been friends with Andrea and Mike for years, so it was nice catching up and walking around in the sunshine together. We shot at Pine Ridge Park in Blairsville, which is a significant location for all of us. For me, it was nice returning to PRP, as I dubbed it years ago, since it's a location where I first began practicing photography years ago. It's an even more significant location for Andrea and Mike, since that's where Mike proposed! And we got this shoot together right in time - Mike is in the Navy and was getting ready to leave for Virginia later that same afternoon. I had a great time photographing them - they were so natural together and clearly very much in love, which I think shows through in the photos! Below are some of my favorites from our shoot together.

There were so many cute candids.

See what I mean?

They told me that this was the spot where he proposed. Naturally we had to get photos here!

This pose was all Mike's idea. The classic Navy wedding dip.

My heart can't handle their sweetness.

They are seriously too cute though.

Thank you so much Andrea and Mike for letting me take these photos! It was honestly a joy. You're an amazing couple, and I wish you two all the best together!
